President's Speech
Indeed all praises belong to Allah Subhanahu Wa Taala alone. It is in him that we seek refuge of the evil of our souls and consequences of our evil actions. Indeed whomsoever Allah guides, there is no one can misguide him and whomsoever Allah leaves misguided there is no one can guide him. I bear witness that it is not worthy to be worshipped but Allah alone and Muhammad Ibn Abdullah Ibn Abdul Muttalib Ibn Hashim (PBUH) is his truthful servant and His Messenger for the Mankind. May peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, upon his companions and people those follow his path until the Day of Judgment.
Honourable and respected guests, my dear friends, I greet you with the greeting words of Paradise,
“As-salaamu’alaykum! …. Peace be with you!”
I am delighted today to be able to inaugurate the newly-established Mosque of Lisbon, also known as Khadija ® Mosque, and to be able to declare various projects currently underway to improve the environment of our community in Lisbon. The five daily Prayers and Jumuah (Friday Prayers) are performed in congregation in our mosque throughout the years.
From instructional courses for adults to classes for youth, BICRAL provides educational programs that serves all community members.
BICRAL hosts events and activities to serve diverse needs across the community, ranging from seminars to sports competitions and more.
We are trying to enrich our website by gathering information about local Halal resources and giving knowledge about Haram e-codes with which you can abstain yourself from unintentional Haram consumption.
And it is our duty as Muslims to contribute to and to encourage this effort, as the Holy Qu’ran reminds us by commanding us to leave the world in a better condition than that in which we received it, and instructing us to help one another in the performance of good works.
